Our History

The Social Registry WB Gov IN Annapurna Bhandar is part of a broader initiative by the Government of West Bengal to create a unified portal for all Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) schemes. Leveraging the Socio-Economic Census of 2011 as baseline data, this project is set to expand its coverage to include all potential applicants across various programs. A significant milestone has been the integration with the ‘Jai Bangla’ platform and the rollout of major schemes like the Annapurna Yojana, providing financial assistance to eligible women.
